Motorola Nest phone could be real

Motorola Nest phone could be real

When designer Kelly Bremer showed off this Motorola "Nest" phone as a design concept late last year, we hardly took it seriously, but now the phone is apparently headed for the realm of reality. Its pleasingly asymmetric shape is supposed to resemble a bird's nest, but we beg to differ. We think it resembles no other cell phone in the world, and eagerly await its release.

Too bad it doesn't have a transparent OLED screen viewable from front and back, as was fantasized in the design concept stage. Even though its upcoming real-world iteration falls short of that fanciful design concept, we still think this is one sweet-looking smartphone. Details of its release are unavailable, but if this trinket finds its way to market, this could be the beginning of a Motorola renaissance.
